Must be professional, have experience working with the public, excellent customer service skills, and interest in outdoor activities. Preferential consideration will be given to those with college level coursework in geology and/or California history, mountaineering or rock climbing. Duties include speaking to large groups and presenting historical and geological information and adventure instructions in a clear, organized, up-beat way. Part-time to start with potential for full-time in the spring and summer. Must be available weekends and holidays and have reliable transportation. You must have reliable transportation and live locally to work at the above listed locations. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, articulate, good public speakers, friendly, responsible and professional. Guides at Moaning Cavern have the additional opportunity to become Rappel instructors, Adventure Trip or Zip guides, and California Cavern walk tour guides can become Expedition guides.
