We provide a variety of adventure experiences from the mild to the wild. In order to help you decide which experience is right for you, we have rated our tours and expeditions on an "Adventure Scale." These levels assume no phobias of height or tight spaces, and include endurance in the measure of difficulty. For specifics on each trip, please check our FAQ pages.

LEVEL 1
	The mildest level of adventure we offer can be experienced on the walk tours at Boyden Cavern, Sutter Gold Mine and Black Chasm Cavern.
LEVEL 1.5
	The next mildest levels of adventure are on the walk tours at California Cavern and Moaning Cavern.
LEVEL 3.5
	A medium level of adventure/difficulty is experienced on California Cavern's Mammoth Cave Expedition and Gold Cliff Mine's Adventure Trip.
LEVEL 4
	Wild adventures are available on Moaning Cavern's Rappel, Moaning Cavern's Adventure Trip with or without the Rappel and Moaning Cavern's Zip Lines.
LEVEL 5
	Our wildest expedition, which needs the most stamina and is the most physically demanding is California Cavern's Middle Earth Expedition.
